Killer Mike has a knack for speaking on issues that aren't exactly politically correct, and now he's capitalizing on it.

On Wednesday (Dec. 12), the Run The Jewels rapper revealed news he teamed up with Netflix for the upcoming series Trigger Warning. Throughout the six-episode Netflix original series, the Grammy Award-winning rapper and activist spends his time taking on social issues that have impacted the Black community for decades.

"Trigger Warning is about examining cultural taboos and giving viewers the space to examine the 'what ifs' and 'why nots' that limit how some people move and operate in the world,” said Killer Mike

“In six episodes, we explore the human condition using nontraditional approaches," the rhymer continues. "Not everyone will agree with my methods (and some of what we’re putting out is fucking crazy), but this show is about embracing your freedom to challenge societal expectations and conformity. This show is if an anarchist determined the status quo.”

Killer Mike has always been outspoken about social issues that he's passionate about. Before discussing drug economics with 2 Chainz on wax, the Atlanta native faced backlash for defending the Second Amendment in an interview with NRATV, which he thinks was used to anger the March For Our Lives organizers.

"Sorry my interview about 'black gun owners' was used in the wrong way but, hey it’s people having far worse days," he replied to one comment. "Thanks for the support. Those folks will be ok and I will Be too. Have a grand day."
