Kodak Black was arrested in Broward County on seven charges including child neglect, possession of marijuana and theft of a firearm Thursday.

Specifically, Kodak was charged with one count of grand theft of a firearm, two charges of possession of a weapon or ammunition by a felon, one count of possession of cannabis over 20 grams, one count of child neglect and two counts of probation violation, TMZ first reported.

The 20 year-old rapper was released back in June after serving 97 days of a 364 day sentence. He was released early because he completed a voluntary life skills course while he was in jail. He'd since released a mixtape with fellow Florida rapper, Plies, called F.E..M.A. and his flow was the inspiration behind Cardi B's mega hit, "Bodak Yellow."

Kodak, who has been in and out of legal trouble for the past few years, was currently on house arrest for one year and needed permission from his probation officer to travel.

The rapper was livestreaming on Instagram when his house was raided by police.

“Your phone is part of the search warrant. You’re not going to get your phone back," a man can be heard saying in the background of the record clip, which has since made the Internet rounds.

Th rapper was booked into jail around 8 p.m. yesterday (Jan. 18), according to reports.

Kodak was also indicted on sexual conduct charges back in October 2017, the case for which is ongoing. If he's convicted in that case, Kodak Black reportedly faces up to 30 years in prison.

Since his arrest, social media has had a lot to say. Check out some responses below.
