What would you do if you walked into a supermarket and saw a packaged raccoon being sold in the frozen food section?

A lady in LA took video of it and sent it to a local TV station, which in turn investigated the supermarket.

Inspectors visited the Metro Supermarket in Temple City, and they found entire raccoons, frozen, bagged, and on sale for $9.99 per pound.

The employees say raccoon is considered a delicacy in China.

It turns out that selling the raccoons may indeed be perfectly legal, depending on where it came from.  The market has stopped selling raccoons until their meat source can be reviewed and officially approved.
