Rich Homie Quan has been thoroughly roasted on social media for forgetting the Notorious B.I.G.’s lyrics to “Get Money” during his performance at the 2016 VH1 Hip-Hop Honors on Monday night (July 11).

Although the Atlanta rapper apologized for the mishap, it hasn’t calmed the uproar from people who feel that his performance was disrespectful to the late B.I.G.

However, Lil' Kim, who was performed alongside Quan during the set, has come to his defense and has accepted his apology for messing up Biggie's lyrics. In her Instagram post (see above), the Queen Bee said she hold no grudges towards him and thanked him for showing up.

"I loved you before and I'm gonna love you after Rich Homie," she wrote. "People make mistakes and things happen sometimes that we can't fix or undo."

"If you guys only knew the technical difficulties that went on behind the scenes," she added. "I would like to thank my friend @richhomiequan for coming through for me at the last minute. It's all love."

Aww, isn't that sweet? Spread love, it's the Brooklyn way.
