Lil Uzi Vert Plays Snippet of New Music on Instagram Live

Lil Uzi Vert's LUV Is Rage 2 doesn't have a release date in sight, and the sound of the album is really anyone's guess, but Uzi himself may have just offered a brief preview of the project during a recent session of Instagram Live.

In a video recording of the session, Uzi can be seen smoking a blunt while vibing out to some of his own heat, and it sounds pretty hardbody from what we can tell. He didn't appear to disclose anything about the song's title or where it might ultimately end up, but it's something.

If you haven't heard, LUV is Rage 2 isn't dropping any time soon. Don Cannon, who runs the label Uzi's signed to, said as much during his own recent live video streaming session .

“If you didn’t hear, LUV Is Rage is not dropping no time soon. It’s not going to be a long time from now, but not within this month,” Cannon explained. “We still working on the album. It’s a process. You got to make the album, mix the album, master the album. Put it out. That takes time when you’re perfecting it.”

Uzi's album might be a ways away, but he's still got plenty going on. Last month, the rapper's hit single "Money Longer" became his second record to go platinum. At this very moment, his track “XO Tour Llif3” remains within the top ten of Billboard's Hot 100 chart. Clearly Uzi's doing work.
