Now here’s something Lil Wayne can thrust his pelvis to — the rapper’s cameo on French Montana’s single ‘Pop That’ help earn him his 100th hit on the Billboard Hot R&B/Hip-Hop Songs chart.

The song, which also features Rick Ross and Drake, debuted this week at No. 57 on the tally. The Young Money honcho follows behind James Brown and Jay-Z as the third artist to nab a centennial tune on the R&B/Hip-Hop Songs chart. The Godfather of Soul is the reigning king with 111 entries, while Hov has 108 chart titles.

Weezy first debut on the chart in 1999 when he was just a rap young’un with his guest spot on Juvenile‘s booty anthem ‘Back That Thang up’ (featuring Mannie Fresh). Wayne might snag his 101st entry this summer with his just-released jam ‘My Homies Still,’ which features G.O.O.D. Music rapper Big Sean.

In the meantime, Wayne is putting the finishing touches on his highly-anticipated LP ‘I Am Not A Human Being II,’ the followup to his 2010 album of the same name. “That’s what I’m workin’ on right now, actually I’m finished,” he said. “The difference between [this] album and the last ‘I Am Not a Human Being’ would be the music wasn’t rushed.”

That’s good to know!

We like to congratulate Lil Wayne for his recent chart achievement. Keep making those hits Weezy F. Baby!
