Recently, Lil Wayne gave all of his fans something to be thankful for. Using his Instagram account, Weezy revealed that his long-awaited Dedication 6 project is coming soon.

"Happy Thanksgiving! I’m so thankful for all my fans for standing by me while I’m enduring this fight with this label. I ain’t shit without y’all! D6 is coming y’all way soon! Thank You," he wrote in the caption for the post, which includes an image of himself in the midst of a concert.

At this point, Dedication 6 has been "on the way" for a good while. DJ Drama teased the project this past summer, and Weezy's own manager suggested that November or December would mark the landing of the sixth entry in Weezy's famed Dedication series. Now, we've once again received word from Weezy, and so it really should be headed our way in the near future.

Weezy also uses the social media post to discuss his ongoing legal battle with Birdman, whom he famously sued a few years back. There's no real word on what progress has been made on that end, and even less is known about when we can expect Tha Carter V, even though Weezy has said he can drop it at any time.

“Of course you’re going to see Tha Carter V,” Weezy said. “I just don’t want to put it out the wrong way. Honestly, I can do what I want at any time. The fans deserve it to be right and that’s how it’s gonna be. I’ma make sure it’s right. I can drop whatever I want to drop. That’s why I keep dropping whatever I want to drop. But I’m not gonna give them Carter V the wrong way.”

For now, all we can do is wait—for both projects. Peep Weezy's PSA below.
