Lil Wayne's highly-anticipated Tha Carter V album is finally out and being consumed by the masses. With six years in the making, the release of the album has been a long process lined with red tape. But Tune never wavered. One of his biggest fans, daughter Reginae Carter, is giving her father props on staying the course.

Weezy's daughter spoke with TMZ about the album on Friday (Sept. 28), telling the site she is ecstatic about its release. "It feels, like, amazing. It's so heartwarming," she said. "I'm so proud of my dad. He never gave up. I really look up to him."

She added, "I've been listening to it all morning. I've been listening to it since it came out and I'm very, I'm not being biased, it's really great. All this work has built up 'til now and he's telling you about his life. He's telling you what he went through. I love my grandmother on there. Its just so real and I love it."

Reginae is also featured on the album via the track "Famous." It also has guest appearances from XXXTentacion, Kendrick Lamar, Nicki Minaj, Travis Scott and more.

In related news, in response to Childish Gambino having to take some time off of the touring circuit due to a foot injury, it was recently announced Wayne would take his place at the upcoming 2018 Austin City Limits Festival in October.
