The Lions second half collapse is now complete as their overtime loss to the Giants on Sunday solidified the fact that they would not make the playoffs.  Does that mean that Lions head coach Jim Schwartz is going to be headed to the unemployment line?

Schwartz was already on the hot seat after the lions had lost 4 of their last 5 games, but a couple of key decisions in the Giants loss might have sealed the deal.

First was the decision to have Matt Stafford throw the ball when the Lions had a late lead, and were trying to run out the game clock.  The throw went off the hands of Joseph Fauria and ended up in an interception returned for the game tying touchdown.  Fauria accepted the blame on twitter but the throw was too far off the mark for even his 6 foot 7 reach.

When Schwartz was asked about his future in a post game interview he simply said, "Speculation isn't my job, coaching is enough of a job for me."

So do you think Schwartz is gone?  What other changes would like to see the Lions make going into next year?
