Local Coach Battling Cancer Gets Support From College Coaches [Video]

For some this story hits a little close to home, like myself. I've known Dave Barns for many years, even back when he was a point guard for Goodrich High School. You won't meet a more down to earth, humble person. Barns, who is 29 years old, was diagnosed with cancer more than a year ago, and continues his fight.

ABC 12 reports several well known college coaches are showing their support for Barns. MSU Coach Tom Izzo and U of M Coach John Beilein, along with others, have put up a billboard in Goodrich for junior varsity basketball coach Dave Barns.
