Fresh off of dropping his Bobby Tarantino II mixtape, Logic teams up with singer Sam Smith for what he calls the "most important feature" he's ever done. On Thursday (March 29), Smith shared the remix of his song "Pray" which features the Maryland rapper.

Over a slow, soulful instrumental, Logic spits a first-person tale of someone who feels misunderstood by the world. "I am me/I'm a man, I'm a sinner/But understand, aren't we all?" Logic raps. "So when it comes to passin' judgements I don't think that you're the one to make the call/Heaven want to cast me out for being me, I know there's others like me that'll break the fall."

On Twitter, Logic spoke highly of the song and shared an inspiring message for his fans. "Writing from the perspective of someone who feels unwanted and un accepted. Im here to tell you there are others like you! You're loved and you CAN be yourself!" the rapper wrote. He also thanked Smith for giving him the platform to say what he needed to say.

In related Logic news, the rapper recently announced he and wife Jessica Andrea have split up. On March 20, the rapper shared a statement about the breakup, saying that after two years of marriage, he and Andrea are better as friends.

"It's very simple: it just didn't work out," the statement continues. "There is no anger involved. No fighting, no cheating, no nothing. We love each other and will continue to support each other for the rest of our lives."
