On May 17, Mac Miller was arrested for a DUI following a hit-and-run crash that saw him drive his 2016 Mercedez-Benz G-Class SUV into a power pole. Now, TMZ reports the rapper's blood alcohol concentration was twice the legal limit when he was taken into custody.

According to the May 22 report, the Pittsburgh rapper's blood alcohol content was at .15 percent when police arrested him at his home in California. Like all states, California laws state a driver over 21 years old can't have a BAC over 0.08 percent.

Miller was reportedly driving around the San Fernando Valley area at around 1 a.m. when he hit the pole with his car. The crash caused enough impact to deploy the airbags, but Miller and two other passengers were able to flee on foot.

After police ran the rapper's license plates, they were able to find Miller's home address. Once cops arrived at his house, Miller confessed to the hit-and-run, as well as driving under the influence and was taken into custody. The rapper's bail was set at $15,000.

The incident follows Miller's recent breakup with singer Ariana Grande. The singer broke the news in an Instagram story post but said the two will always remain friends. "I respect and adore him endlessly and am grateful to have him in my life in any form, at all times regardless of how our relationship changes or what the universe holds for each of us!" Grande wrote. Miller and Grande began dating in 2016.
