Songstress Marsha Ambrosius celebrated the first of two release parties for her sophomore LP, ‘Friends & Lovers,’ at S.O.B’s in New York City last night (Jan. 20).

With a full band supporting her, she performed a few new tracks such as the album's lead single, ‘Cold War,’ as well as the title track ‘Friends & Lovers.' The never shy, always honest Leo also belted out ‘Where Are My Shoes,’ which happens to detail one of her sexual adventures.

The soulful singer also had fans singing favorites such as ‘Butterflies.’ She elevates listeners with tender melodies but then offers a piece of her mind and turns her obligatory cursing into an art form with ‘Hope She Cheats On You (With A Basketball Player).’

Ambrosius can sing the S.O.B’s menu (which is a good one) and she would have our full attention.
