Master P has a heavy workload ahead of him this year, and he's making sure the patience of his fans doesn't go without a big pay-off. The No Limit CEO recently announced two major events that will be coming soon, the first one being the future release of his next studio album titled Intelligent Hoodlum. Following the album announcement, the legendary rapper also revealed that he is planning a celebrity basketball game in his home city of New Orleans.

The Southern MC posted the album cover art for Intelligent Hoodlum to his Instagram page and captioned it "coming soon." While the project does not have a set release date, we know we can expect some more details to come in the near future. As far as the upcoming celebrity basketball game, Master P revealed the event will coincide with the 2017 Essence Festival this summer. The game is slated to take place on Thursday, June 29 at the Xavier University Convocation Center in New Orleans for Essence Weekend. Team Hope NOLA, which is the rap icon's charity organization that caters to the needs of children from the Louisiana city, is set to host the star-studded game.

While speaking on the upcoming game on the foundation's site, he stated, “It is one of my life missions to bring awareness to NOLA and some of the needs of our children. This is a perfect opportunity to not only have some family fun but to also acknowledge the hard work our children are doing even when faced with adversities.”
