Meek Mill "Going Bad" Featuring Drake: First Song After Beef

Meek Mill’s long-awaited fourth studio album, Championships, has now arrived (Nov. 30), with several tracks already separating themselves as the project’s standouts including “Going Bad.” The song features Drake, marking the first time the pair have reunited on wax following their highly-publicized beef.

On the track both rappers do some hardcore flexing. Drake opens the track, spitting, “Back home, smokin' legal (Legal)/I got more slaps than The Beatles (Beatles)/Foreign shit runnin' on diesel, dawg/Playin' with my name, that shit is lethal, dawg (Who you say you was?)”

After his verse, Drizzy handles the chorus as well, with Meek coming in to handle the second verse.

“I could fit like 80 racks in my Amiris (80 racks),” he raps. “Me and Drizzy back-to-back, it's gettin' scary (Back-to-back)/If you fuckin' with my odds, it's don't come near me (Get outta my way).”

Given their recent reunion, Drake and Meek's collaboration doesn’t come as too much of a surprise. Still, though, it didn't look like this would be possible two years ago.

Meek and Drizzy previously worked together on Meek's Dreamchasers 2 track "Amen" and “R.I.C.O.,” which appeared on Meek’s Dreams Worth More Than Money album (2015). However, in the summer of 2015, Meek accused Drizzy of using rapper Quentin Miller as a ghostwriter. Afterwards, Drake and Meek famously unloaded a few diss tracks/rap lines about one another.

Things began to take a turn back in September. That's when Drake brought out Meek Mill during a stop on his Aubrey and the Three Migos Tour, which marked their first amicable public appearance together since the beef began.

The track, which includes a monumental instrumental by Wheezy, is set to be one of the most discussed on the project, ranging from their reconciliation to the fact that it simply hits hard.
