Meek Mill is showing his holiday spirit a few days early by hosting his first annual A Dreamchaser's Thanksgiving. The rapper will hand out turkeys to families who won't be able to afford the iconic bird for dinner this year.

Tomorrow (Nov. 26) and Wednesday (Nov. 27), Meek will pass out turkeys in his native Philadelphia. “Philly raised me and made me into the man I am today, so to do the first annual ‘A Dreamchaser’s Thanksgiving,’ was an obvious thing to do. I’m blessed to be in a position where I can make sure that as many people as possible have a meal on Thanksgiving, so that they can be with their loved ones to enjoy the holiday,” the Maybach Music Group signee said in a statement.

The turkey giveaway aims to help about 600 families throughout the city and benefits various Philadelphia organizations like Youth Working Together, Town Watch and Unity in the Community.

With the help of the city's mayor, Michael Nutter, and other sponsors, Meek is glad that his project is coming to fruition. “This could not have been possible without the support of the Mayor and his amazing staff, as well as all of the other sponsors who are donating their time, money and turkeys," he said. "I’ve been all over the world but Philly is my home, and to be able to now give back is an amazing feeling.”

The MC, along with the Mayor Nutter and select local government officials, will distribute turkeys at locations below.
