Meet TaWanna Anderson – Black History Month Spotlight
Meet TaWanna Anderson. TaWanna Anderson is a 29 years old and is a Flint native who is also a mother. TaWanna graduated from Carmen Ainsworth High School in 2000 and received her Associates degree from Baker College in Applied Science.
TaWanna is a devoted member of Ebenezer Ministries for over 10 years. Ms. Anderson is active in her church with giving back to the youth serving as a mentor to young girls. The Daughters of Destiny program is the mentor program to help assist young girls with any issues they may be facing. TaWanna is committed to this ministry at Ebenezer Ministries.
Lastly, TaWanna is employed by Hurley Medical Center as an Ambulatory Care Center Clerical. Through her time working at Hurley Medical Center, she has had opportunity to mentor to more young ladies which has sparked her interest in starting a non-profit organization to assist young women in the Flint area.
