Police departments all around Michigan are offering people a chance to drop off any unwanted drugs this Saturday, with no questions asked.

The initiative is being spearheaded by the U.S. Drug Enforcement Agency, and will take place this Saturday, October 22nd.

There's no charge to drop off the drugs, and there won't be any questions asked about where they came from.  The effort is to curb the possibility of someone becoming addicted to prescription drugs, by taking drugs that don't belong to them.

If you have needles or liquids to drop off, you may have to make special arrangements.  You can call 800-882-9529 for specific instructions on how to deal with those types of drop offs.

The drop off times are this Saturday from 10am to 2pm, and a list of Genesee County locations is listed below.  If you would like to find a drop off location near you, just enter your information here.
