Michigan Ranks Near The Top of Violent Threats In Schools

Violent threats at our kids schools are definitely among our biggest fears, and Michigan is ranked number 7 in the nation when it comes to violent threats against schools.

A study published by The National School Safety and Security Services not only ranked the states, but found that violent threats have increased 158%.

The good news is that most of the threats are investigated, and found to be pranks or hoaxes.  This still doesn't help Michigan parents though when trying to answer the question of why?

Why do Michigan schools rank so high on the list?
