Michigan roads and bridges could finally get some much needed love.  The Michigan Senate could vote on increase funds to repair potholes and poor bridges in the near future.  Looks like we have answered prayers!

According to WNEM, the Senate is thinking about raise taxes to provide $1.3 billion for repairs.  Today, Wednesday May 21st, the Senate will meet to discuss spending $450 million for repairs which the Senate's Republican leader will ask to triple the investment.

There has been thoughts of increasing the gas pump taxes to pay for the repairs.  At this point, every Michigander would like to see the roads and bridges fix so a increase in taxes would not be a problem.
