Miley Cyrus Claims Detroit Made Her “Grow Up”

With all of the the crazy antics Miley Cyrus has been involved in this would be the absolute worse time for her to ever claim Detroit.

Ok Maybe she didn't exactly clam Detroit but she definitely is claiming that the city did play a huge part of what we see today. In a Rolling Stone interview posted Tuesday, Cyrus said it was when she was filming the movie 'LOL'  in Detroit ,much of it at Grosse Pointe South High School that a lot of “stuff” happened. At the time we were hearing rumors that Cyrus was partying hard.

“Detroit’s where I felt like I really grew up,” she told Rolling Stone. “It was only for a summer, but that’s where I started going to clubs, where I got my first tattoo. Well, not my first tattoo, but my first without my mom’s consent. I got it on Eight Mile! I lied to the guy and told him I was 18. I got a heart on my finger and wore a Band-Aid for two months so my mom wouldn’t find out.”

Ok that is all fine and dandy but if you're going to say a city changed you make sure that city wants you to be a representation of that city. Detroit has greats like Barry Gordy, Kid Rock and Eminem They don't need Billy Ray Cyrus daughter.
