Miley Cyrus is many things: singer, actress, twerker… and now she is the subject of a sociology class at the prestigious Skidmore College in upstate New York. Where can we sign up?

The course, which will be taught this upcoming summer, is called 'The Sociology of Miley Cyrus: Race, Class, Gender and Media' and will use the 'Wrecking Ball' singer as a lens through which they will "explore sociological thinking about identity, entertainment, media and fame." To put it more simply, the students and professor will be using Miley as an example to examine how society views many of the aspects of Miley's life in the spotlight, her career and how she chooses to express herself.

According to the course description, the class will also look at "the rise of the Disney Princess" and will explore "what happens to Disney stars as they age," using Justin Timberlake, Britney Spears and Christina Aguilera (all former Mousketeers) as examples.

As it just so happens, we editors here at PopCrush just compiled a totally relevant guide to some of Miley's wildest moments -- which may fit in well the Skidmore course. Professor Chernoff, if you're looking for any helpful handouts, may we suggest our handy guide to the Definitive (Tongue) Ranking of Miley's Craziest Bangerz Tour Moments So Far? Strictly for homework purposes, of course.

PopCrushers + Smilers, would you take a Miley Cyrus class?
