Andy Dalton threw for 280 yards and a touchdown, and the Cincinnati Bengals beat the Pittsburgh Steelers, 20-10, in Ohio on Monday night. Bengals' rookie running back Giovani Bernard had two scores: a 7-yard touchdown run in the first quarter and a 27-yard touchdown reception in the third.

After the teams were tied 10-10 heading into halftime, Cincinnati (1-1) adjusted in the second half with Dalton connecting with Bernard on one score, and placekicker Mike Nugent tacking on a field goal in the fourth quarter.

The Steelers (0-2) were largely ineffective on offense throughout the contest, amassing just 44 rushing yards for the game. Pittsburgh quarterback Ben Roethlisberger threw for 251 yards, a touchdown and an interception. He was sacked five times and could not rally his team to any second-half points. It's the first time the Steelers have started 0-2 since 2002.
