Bar Fight

A new study has found that the dance floor is the most likely place for a fight to start inside of a bar or nightclub.

There are a ton of factors that go into why, but it probably all has to do with that one guy trying to clear room so he can do the worm . . . damn I hate that guy!

The study is actually legit, and was probably fun to be a part of.  Check out the actual quote from the UofT students who conducted the study.

"Researchers made more than 1,300 visits to 118 bars and clubs over a two-year period. They went to bars that could hold more than 300 people and they went on Fridays and Saturdays between midnight and 3 am.  Researchers observed people for aggressive behaviors and rated them on a scale of 1 (minor non-physical harm) to 5 (actions causing pain, including punching and kicking)."

The results showed about 20 percent of the worst fights started on the floor itself; another 13 percent of them happened near it. Sexual aggression on bar/night club dance floors was thought to be the main cause of most of the fights. The tables were the third hotspot for fights. That was followed by the hallways, aisles, and stairs, the entrance and the pool tables.

So next time you're in the bar and you think that it would be a good idea to grind on the next girl over . . . watch your back.
