The Mott Community College 'Help Portrait Event' is a chance for your family to get free, professional holiday portraits done.

The 'Help Portrait Event' is in it's sixth year at MCC, and is focused about giving back to Flint. Bob Rentshcler told NBC25, "Our goal is to make every person who walks through the door feel special from start to finish."

The event backs up with Rentshcler had to say with a complete package to help families. There will be cosmetology students on hand to do hair and makeup touches before you get your photos. Every family will get an 8x10 print and digital copy of their photos when they are done.

With all that is going on at the event, it's easy to forget that the entire thing is FREE! You won't have to make an appointment either, as the photos are taken on a first come basis.

The MCC Help Portrait session happens Saturday December 2nd from 12n to 4pm at 1401 E. Court Street.

After the Help Portrait Event, Mott will be hosting their annual tree lighting ceremony, and everyone is welcome to stay for the party.
