Mount Morris Township First Black Police Chief Sworn Into Office

Changes are happening around our community and we should all be excited. Mount Morris Township has sworn in their first black Police Chief, Terrance Green.

Police Chief Green says the new job is the highlight of his law enforcement career. Green has served for the Genesee County Sheriff Department for 21 years patrolling the Northern part of the county.

During the swearing in process on Monday, Green's family was in attendance. According to MLive, Green's mother even shed some tears of joy for her son.

Green took the job effective September 15th.
