Multiple Shootings Scar Memorial Day Weekend In Flint [Video]

Violence rang out in the streets of Flint over Memorial weekend, with at least 5 different shootings reported to police.

Memorial Day Weekend featured many great community events in Flint and Genesee County, but the violence that took place is taking center stage.

The worst of the shootings took place near Southwestern where 7 people were injured.  Other shootings took place at Atherton East Apartments,Gillespie and Industrial avenues, Brother's Market in Flint, and Euclid and Welch.

Overall, the outbreak of violence left 12 people injured and one dead.

Residents are disgusted with the violence and are asking anyone who knows details to contact the police to aid in their investigation.
