There is a lot to worry about in America right now with Donald Trump as president, and a lot of artists are using their platforms to shed as much light on those concerns as possible. Murs recently released his brand new video for "GBKW (God Bless Kanye West)," where he dives into the every day struggles of black men in the U.S. using three different stories that eventually tie together.

While laying out on a bed, pondering on the plight of black men in our country, Murs raps about rapper Kanye West, and how all of the stories connect to him as a representation of young black men.

In a recent interview, the artist recently spoke on the super producer's breakdown.

“As a people, we need therapy,” Murs said. “If black America was one person, it would need a lot of therapy. But in our community, we don’t get a lot of help. The people that are surrounding Kanye are not giving him the help required. But people are criticizing him coming out and saying he needs help. Kanye’s been through a lot. We’re all going through it, and we don’t have the mental health services that are necessary in our community.”

"GBKW" is set to be featured on Murs' upcoming album, Captain California, which is scheduled to officially release on March 10. Watch the brand new video for the track above.
