Just days before the NBA draft, Isaiah Austin found out he had a career ending genetic disorder which prevented him from playing in the NBA.  Last night, June 26th, the NBA honored him by calling his name as if a team hired him for his hoop skills.

The NBA draft made a lot of young men dreams come true and become rich in the process.  Austin's opportunity was taken away from him due to health issues.  He overcame being blind in one eye and could not over his latest battle.

We're thankful that the NBA has the class to make this moment happen for Isaiah.  We can only wish the best for the former Baylor basketball player.
