Nearly Half Of People That Play ‘Free’ Games, Eventually Buy Stuff From Them

New research shows that the free games you play on your phone or online, might not be so free after all.

According to market research firm NPD Group, which reports that 40 percent of free-game players end up opening up their wallets.

The findings come from more than 6,000 gamers and find that women are more likely to stick with a game but men are the ones who end up dropping the cash.
