Earlier today, Nike and superstar NBA player Kevin Durant, unveiled their latest Nike Basketball silhouette, the KD 9. The latest sneaker from Durant's signature line with Nike, is said to be one of the most innovative and comfortable basketball sneakers of its time. During today's official launch event in Austin, Texas, Durant and Nike designer Leo Chang not only introduced the brand new pair of kicks to media folks, but the NBA player and Swoosh designer spoke in detail about the special features of this shoe.

The latest Nike KD 9 sneaker speaks to the new direction of the game, highlighting skill-set versatility. KD’s newest iteration is designed to respond quickly and comfortably to the fast pace of the NBA game — for a guard-like change of direction or big-man skills down on the block, the shoe is designed to keep consumers and ball players locked and maximizing potential.

After taking the court during the 2015-16 NBA Playoffs in his KD 9 sneakers, the world will finally get a chance to get their hands on KD's latest sneaker.
