Today, Nike surprises its sneakerheads with the unexpected re-release of a few classic iterations of some popular shoes. Launched earlier in the day, the re-release consists of five Foamposite sneakers in some eye-catching colors.

Now available for purchase at Nike’s SNKRS app, the Foamposite rerelease is compromised of the following colorways—metallic cooper, royal blue, optic yellow, metallic silver and pure platinum. Featuring the signature egg shell canvas base on the shoe's bulky midsole and outsole, the re-release of the sneakers marks the first time in a few years that the Swoosh brings back these in-demand iterations.

Originally released in 1997, the Nike Air Foamposite Pro gained popularity among sneakerheads and basketball players when Anfernee "Penny" Hardaway, player of the Orlando Magic, sported the shoe during the entire 1997-1998 season. Since then, the Swoosh has dropped several iterations of the kicks, and has even released a set of collaborative Foamposites with New York retailer Supreme.

Ranging between $230 and $250, the 2017 Nike Air Foamposite Pro rerelease is now being sold at Nike's SNKRS app for a limited time only.
