Nipsey Hussle jumps back into his Marathon Mondays series after taking a few weeks off from the steady stream of releases. The latest addition to the series is a track called "Mark My Words" featuring Rick Ross. Both MCs make every word count on this fresh single produced Jake One and Mike & Keys.

"Go flourish, double back and come and get yo niggas/Pass the power to yo people, there ain't nothing realer/Faced with this decision, it's a funny feeling/Knowing when you tell the truth they gon' come and kill you," Nipsey raps.

While a lot of the hip-hop community has been picking sides in the the beef between The Game and Meek Mill, Nipsey Hussle criticized both men for engaging in a feud. Last month, Nipsey said the two were displaying bad leadership by beefing in public.

"Hip-hop need to stop gassing this ‘beef’ between @thegame and @MeekMill,” Nipsey wrote on Sept. 18. “Niggas gone sit down like men and express they differences and come to an understanding. Ain’t gone be no east coast west coast war. Ain’t gone be no black men killing black men. Behind publicity or rap music or social pressure from the people to the point we can all deal w each other as real niggas w respect. If someone’s in the wrong then it should be handled….and then everyone get bac to the money. This internet shit is a divide and conquer. @thegame u got a lot of young blac men on your payroll. Same w @MeekMill this is bad leadership."

Although The Game and Meek Mill's issues have quieted down a bit, the beef has pulled in some new players like Beanie Sigel. It appears that Nipsey Hussle's message has fallen on deaf ears.
