With the glooming dark cloud that continues to hang over Flint, has the city finally had enough of the local and federal government drama?

Flint was hit with another political bomb after trash pick up services was suspended due to a disagreement between Mayor Karen Weaver and City Council.

According to reports Mayor Karen Weaver requested the city sign a new contract with 'Rizzo Environmental Services' and ditch the current waste pick up company 'Republic Services.

The new contract with Rizzo is cheaper, and since Mayor Karen Weaver didn't get her way, she suspended all trash pick up in the city of Flint effective Monday, August 1st.

So what happens now? Where do residents place their trash? Next to the bottles of water that the people of Flint are still drinking? Oh, the government said the water is fine to drink? What about the lead pipes? What about the kids that are infected with lead poisoning? There's so many unanswered questions that still need to be answered, and now we have yet another crisis on our hands.

The point I'm trying to make is local and federal government continue to do everything they can to destroy this city. First the water, now the trash, all that's left is to turn off the lights on the way out. So what do the people of Flint do? How do you fight big government? It's really a simple answer.

We start by placing the trash that will continue to pile up in houses all across Flint on the City Hall lawn. I know some of you will say "Trash pick up has resumed! All is well in Flint!" but the problem is just temporarily fixed. Contracts have not been signed and residents have trash pick up for now, but how long will that last? How long until Mayor Weaver decides to shut off the power because City Council wouldn't let her get her way? How long until she shuts down the roads because she found a really reliable company that can do it cheaper? I know you think I'm talking crazy, but did we really think there wouldn't be trash pick up due to the Mayor not getting her way? I didn't see it coming, so the possibilities are endless when it comes to how many ways can you destroy Flint in the eyes of local government.

Now I know you're thinking "Well I don't want to go to jail!", but are they going to really arrest every resident in Flint if we all COME TOGETHER AS ONE? No. There's not enough handcuffs and jail cells. The message that would be sent would be powerful. The higher ups will continues to push us until we've finally had enough. Have you had enough? What more is it going to take?

It's a simple message to Mayor Weaver, City Council, and everyone that we've had enough. We start with sending a powerful message that we're sick of the garbage politics that happen in Flint every day. Sure they might arrest a couple people, but imagine if THOUSANDS of residents came together on one day and dumped all their trash on the lawn. Imagine what a statement that would make. They've done everything they can to push us and bully us, it's time to fight back. It's time to send the message that Flint is a strong city that comes together and defends itself.

I'm in no way saying "FIGHT THE POWER DESTROY THE GOVERNMENT!", but when is it time to fight back? After they turn off the power? After they take away more rights? After they say 'Well we poisoned the water, destroyed the schools, and took trash pick up away, guess its time to start tearing down every building in the city."?

It's time to get the people of Flint together and dump our trash on the City Hall lawn. It will speak volumes and let everyone know that Flint has finally had enough. I know this city can work together and take a stand.
