A Northern Michigan couple is in jail after Grand Traverse County sheriff's revived an infant that overdosed after ingesting a white pill.

Police arrived on the scene after a 911 call was made and found the 11-month-old girl overdosing. Officers gave the child naloxon (an overdosing reversing drug) and the child was taken to Devos Children's Hospital in Grand Rapids.

Both Brianna Dawn Devereaux and Devin Lee Devereaux face one count of third-degree child abuse and could face a maximum of two years in prison. Brianna Dawn Devereaux and Devin Lee Devereaux both tested positive for cocaine and opiates according to court records. Both are currently being held in the Grand Traverse County Jail.
