Nudity On TV Increasing At An Alarming Rate

The amount of nudity on TV in the past year has the 'Parents Television Council' in an uproar after finding that full frontal nudity occurrences rose more than 6,000% in 2012.

There was only one appearance in the 2010-11 season, but there have been 64 frontal nudity instances this year alone!

There were 76 incidents of full nudity on 37 shows this year, compared to 15 incidents in 14 shows the year before. That's a 407 percent rise.

Almost 70 percent of the scenes that featured nudity were on shows that aired before 9pm. That's compared to 50 percent of the full nudity scenes that aired before 9pm during the 2010-2011 season.

Only five of the 76 "full-nudity depictions" contained an "S" to warn parents about the explicit nature of the episode.
