Officer’s Bodycam Shows Prank That Could Of Easily Ended Fatally [Video]

This situation could of easily turned fatal, but thanks to these well-trained police officers no one was injured or killed.

An officer’s body camera captured a moment that could of easily turned into a fatal shooting. During a noise disturbance call the officers knocked on the door of an apartment complex. What is usually considered a typical police call quickly turned into a situation in which an officer's training saved a life.

In the video you see the two officers approach the apartment door and open the door. What this officer sees is both terrifying and unexpected from a typical noise complaint call. The man behind the door was holding a AR-15 and pointed it at the officer as the door opened. The officer quickly pointed his weapon at the person. The person holding the assault rifle responded by dropping the weapon.

After investigating the situation, officers found that the young adults were playing a prank on a drunk friend. Why you would use an AR-15 for a "prank" is both shocking and completely ridiculous, but luckily thanks to the skillful training of this officer no one was injured during this investigation. This officer could of easily pulled the trigger and justified killing this man.
