Oprah Winfrey to Play Pimping Grandmother in Richard Pryor’s Biopic

Well Nick Cannon will not be playing Richard Pryor in biopic but Oprah Winfrey has been casted to play the pimping grandmother of the famous comedian. This film has already made it to my must watch list.  

Oprah was desperate to play the role of the cruel and abusive grandmother of Pryor. Pryor's grandmother raised in Peoria, Illinois and physically abused him during adolescent days.

Reports are saying Oprah really wanted this role to show her gritty side after her success in the movie 'The Butler.' She will be starring next to Mike Epps who will play the legendary comedian.
