Here's some information for you: if you somehow ever win an Oscar, you only have 45 seconds up on that stage to thank anyone and everyone in your entire life. Then that music starts, your microphone gets cut off and the camera starts to pan away and then you have to slink off-stage quietly. Or, you could do what Alfred Hitchcock did with the shortest Oscars acceptance speech on record: just say, "thank you" and walk away. These are just some of the Oscars facts the latest installment of You Think You Know Movies! You'll like them! You'll really like them!

We don't blame you if you've never even watched a full Oscar ceremony; they're a bear to get through. Despite the fact that they're scheduled to run for three hours, they're notorious for running long. The 2002 Oscars ran for four hours and 20 minutes! That's a pretty big jump from 1959, the shortest in Oscar history, when the Oscars ran only one hour and 40 minutes. (You won't get that good this year, we promise.)
