HBO has renewed "Game of Thrones" for a third season.
The epic drama (based on the best-selling fantasy book series by George R.R. Martin) is set in the world of Westeros (and features lots of sex and violence).
The season premiere (April 1) drew 3.9 million viewers. The second episode this past weekend held nearly steady with 3.8 million.
