The 2015 Billboard Music Awards brought out the brightest superstars in hip-hop and R&B, and, of course, the most fashionable outfits on the red carpet. And since the awards ceremony was right in the heart of Las Vegas, we expected to see an abundance of hot ensembles.
We've come to our conclusion of which artists put forth the most quality material over the last three months. Here are our choices for the five best hip-hop albums released in the first quarter of 2015.
Rappers Kid Ink, YG, Wale, Tyga and Richie Homie Quan are revving up the promotions for the upcoming racing flick, 'Furious 7.' The rap quintet have teamed up to star in the adrenaline-fueled video of their collaborative song, “Ride Out.”
In New York, Washington, D.C., and around the globe, thousands of demonstrators marched on Saturday (Dec. 13) in protest of police violence on black men and women. Among the demonstrators were members of the hip-hop community including Nas and Russell Simmons.
This week as we celebrate Thanksgiving Day, several rappers took time out of their busy schedules to give back to their local communities. Big Sean, T.I., Tyga, Snoop Dogg and Ludacris are just some of the artists who handed out free turkeys and fed grateful people ahead of the holidays.
