The fast moving, powerful storms that rolled through Mid-Michigan Monday have left tragedy in it’s wake as WNEM is reporting that a 14 year old boy died during the storm.

The 14 year old and two adults were on the Saginaw River Channel near Pinconning when the storm rolled in. The boat was found near Kilarney Beach Road.

The storm moved so fast and contained wind gusts above 80mph.  The boaters had little time to react, and after complications during the storm, it was to late.

The two adults were taken to McLaren Hospital Bay Region in Bay City.
