Prostitutes and ‘Johns’ Will Be Posted On Flint Police Facebook Page
The Flint Police Department has announced that it will start posting pictures of arrested Prostitutes, and 'Johns' on their Facebook page in an effort to stop prostitution.
In a statement, Flint Police Chief James Tolbert said the effort is meant to deter would-be offenders from engaging in prostitution activity.
“When we look at ways to curb this type of activity, being a visible presence and simply making the arrests isn’t enough of a deterrent. What we believe will be effective is the notification to the public which may have repercussions for offenders who are engaged in a crime that is secretive by nature.”
The photos should start to roll out on the Flint Police Department Facebook page a little later on this week.
