Questlove is now officially a TV guy, since he's already busy being the in-house drummer for 'The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon.'

And besides producing The Roots albums, touring the country as a DJ and being a star on Twitter, his daily responsibilities seem to be as big as his famous 'fro, and now they just got even bigger.

The 43-year-old is now taking the leap from in front of the camera to behind the scenes. He'll be the executive producer of the new show 'SoundClash' for VH1. The title of the show pretty much sums up the concept. Each episode will feature three different acts from various genres performing onstage simultaneously, and it'll be hosted by famed DJ and producer Diplo.

The first episode will air on July 23, in which viewers can check out Fall Out Boy, Lil Wayne and London Grammar, a popular trip-hop group from the U.K. The second episode will feature Grouplove, an alternative rock band from California, Australian pop singer Sia and Ed Sheeran.

Not only will the respective groups perform their own material, they'll also do covers and mash up each other's songs -- making the show vastly different from VH1's other programs.

And besides producing the new show, Quest will have his hands full promoting The Roots new album '...And Then You Shoot Your Cousin,' set for a May 19 release.

Can this guys to-do list be any longer?
