Reverend Jesse Jackson was the guest speaker at Macedonia Missionary Baptist Church in Flint on Sunday morning.  Jackson led the congregation in honor of Black History Month.

He stressed the importance of remembering the past while moving forward. Jackson also touched on social issues like poverty and racial discrimination still haunt people today.

Jackson talked about the need to address crime and gun violence.  "Guns in, drugs in, jobs out - it's a toxic combination," said Jackson.

Overall the message was very uplifting and the congregation were honored to have him speak.
