The 2013 EMAs took place last night (Nov. 10) at the Ziggo Dome in Amsterdam and the credo was "Anything goes!" It was quite a show. The tops of the pops were there, with Robin Thicke, Bruno Mars and Icona Pop turning in some of the most stellar performances of the night.

The stage dripped with sex, thanks to Thicke and Mars, while the lovely Swedish gals turned the auditorium into their own personal disco dance party.

Thicke ditched the black-and-white striped Foot-Locker-employee-meets-Alcatraz-inmate zoot suit of his 2013 VMAs performance in favor of an all-black ensemble and a golden microphone, surrounded by sexy dancers slicked in silver body paint and long, Godiva-like ponytails.

He performed 'Blurred Lines' not with Miley Cyrus -- been there, done that -- but with Aussie rapper Iggy Azalea. The femcee did bump and grind on Thicke, who was sweating profusely. He also performed 'Feel Good,' while seated at the piano, with dancers forming a circle around him. It was quite the opposite of a sausage party!

Thicke wasn't the only one to bring the sexy to the EMAs. Mars performed 'Gorilla,' a sexed up anthem if there ever was one! Come on -- a lyric like "makin' love like gorillas" demands a salacious, dripping-with-sex performance and Mars answered the call.

Mars donned his aviator shades but ditched his signature hat. He was surrounded by his band and a stripper, who had worked that pole. If there is a youngster in the room, you may wanna cover their eyes! That girl was some acrobat. We were left wiping sweat from our brows.

When Mars played the guitar solo "to" the stripper, it was a move totally cribbed from Prince. The suggestion that a guitar is a phallus was most certainly obvious.

Neither R&B crooner turned in a performance for the faint of heart.

The ladies of Icona Pop delivered their addictive smash 'I Love It' and yes, we loved it. They began the song quietly, back-to-back and dressed in mirrored frocks that looked like disco balls and gladiator uniforms. We lurved the attire.

The crowd chimed in from the get-go, singing along with the duo. There was lots and lots of confetti at the end. It was truly a disco dance party, lead by and hosted by Icona Pop.

These perfs made us wish we were there!
