Saints Fan Tries To Justify Wrestling A Football Away From A Woman [Video]

Earlier this week a Saints fan became internet famous for wrestling a game ball away from the woman that it was clearly intended for.

When the video and story above were put online, the fans unleashed their fury.  The man in the video is a Saints season ticket holder, and some people even demanded that he be banned from Saints games (that's a little extreme IMO).

So what would cause a grown man to wrestle a ball away from a woman in full view of the public.  Especially since the ball obviously wasn't meant for him?!  Let's hear what he has to say about it . . .

Soooooo it was for his grandson?  I mean, sure . . . it was for his grandson . . . who wasn't at the game . . . and who wasn't in the video.

Look, I'm not saying that the guy isn't telling the truth, and I'm sure his grandson loved the present that gramps brought home from the game.

I'm still a little unsure if it justifies wrestling the ball away from the lady in the crowd.  Then sitting, refusing to even look at her as she pleaded with him to get it back.

I guess the main thing is that a little kid is happy, and that lady probably ended up getting a ball anyway.  I just hope he doesn't ever show his grandson how he got the ball.
