Move over, Tony Stark! Scientist are about to give us holgraphic technology that we can manipulate by hand. Hopefully we don't use it to create a blood-thirst A.I. that wants to wipe out humanity.

We've seen them in movies for years -- holographic computer displays. Finally, it seems that they are not very far from becoming a reality. Sure, the thing's they're showing in the video are fairly basic at the moment, but that's how everything starts.

Imagine this technology as 'Pong.' Yes, the basic ass video game from the 1970s. A little over a decade later, we had 'Super Mario Bros.' A decade later, we had 'Mortal Kombat 3.' 20 years later, we have 'Batman: Arkham Knight.' Look how far we've come in 40 years and multiply that by how much faster things advance these days. Think about the evolution of the cell phone. 10 years ago, they were the size of 2-4 of the iPhones combined and did little more than make calls and texts. Now they're much smaller and more powerful than most desktop computers of that time. Technology moves fast, son.

It won't be long before we all have holographic computer displays, lightsabers, hologram girlfriends, our own hologram 2pac... Just imagine all the stuff they're going to use tech like this for. The possibilities are, literally, endless.
