Second Woman Accuses Mateen Cleaves of Sexual Assault

A second woman has come forward claiming she was sexually assaulted by Mateen Cleaves.

Prosecutors are currently investigating a possible second assault victim that claims she was sexually assaulted by former MSU basketball player Mateen Cleaves.

The victim reported the sexual assault to Assistant Wayne County Prosecutor Lisa Lindsey on Tuesday. Lindsey stated during the probable cause hearing, but declined to release specific details on the accusation.

According to the Assistant Prosecutor, Cleaves bond may be reviewed further at a later court date due to the new allegations.

Cleaves is free right now on a $150,000 bond.
