Seriously, What Color is The Dress?

I woke up to social media battling over the color of a dress. I couldn't believe this could even be a viral debate but it is. I can see how both sides can make a argument over their claim but this debate has to stop once and for all.

I don't know much about how this dress color debate started or by whom. If you know, please share with me so I can understand. May be since there was no new show of 'Scandal,' this dress took all the viewers attention. Right?
